Farmitank's ventilation system, success story at Vertical Farm Daily
An advanced ventilation system that eliminates thermal stratification and optimises the climate in vertical crops, guaranteeing uniformity and efficiency in production.

One of the great challenges in vertical farming is to maintain homogenous climatic conditions at all crop levels. The phenomenon of thermal stratification, the accumulation of warm air in the upper layers, can compromise the efficiency and uniformity of yields.
Thanks to the work of our engineering team and the collaboration with FabricAir, we have developed an innovative solution that has been recognised as a success story in VerticalFarmDaily.
This ventilation system combines different materials, diameters and diffusion models, allowing us to control temperature, humidity and CO₂ level by level, while maintaining a constant vertical airflow in all growing trays.
The result: a temperature difference of less than 1°C between the lower and upper level of an 18-metre high tank. An efficient, versatile and low-cost solution that improves the reliability and consistency of vertical farming production.
